Printing Options

Under the supervision of the artists and in collaboration with our trusted photolab Kiekie in Amsterdam we deliver prints of the highest standard for digital photography. Our photolab works with Epson printers, the 11880 and the 9890. These printers, with their original Epson Pigment K3 inks, are capable of producing perfect giclée prints. In combination with a special rip programme and the calibration and managing of the papers, delivery of a top product is guaranteed. We offer photographs in one or more sizes (Small, Medium or Large) if available. Choose one out of the following finishing options below:

1. Turning Images Into Art:  Choosing the right paper

The first step is choosing the fine art paper. Together with our PhotoLabKieke we handpick the best suited paper for each individual art piece. PhotoLabKieke has more than 20 different paper options available among which the well-known Hahnemühle paper. Our photo lab is the first Dutch Hahnemühle Certified Studio, this means they work according to certified workflows which guarantee perfect prints and a constant quality.

The paper type on which each individual piece of art is printed, is always mentioned at the specific art page on this website and at the physical CoA which you receive with your purchase. We can send your print in a cardboard tube (print includes a 5-7cm white border) or you can choose one of the following finishes described below.

2. Mounted on Dibond

For the exhibition of art photographs, laminating an aluminum plate on Dibond ® is the ideal medium. The draw is stuck permanently on the plate and is the same size as the photograph. Dibond® is a material that is both strong and light, consisting of a caught between two thin sheets of aluminum polyethylene core. A special glue and a passage in the press allow a flawless finish and a long dress.

This finish provides a direct look at the photograph without the disadvantages of glass reflections. It is appreciated for its simplicity and elegance. Our Dibond prints are standard treated with protection and ultraviolet filter foil. Our Dibond prints are always equipped with a u-profile which enables you to mount it directly on your wall in order to create a gallery aesthetic.

3. Acrylaat®: High quality Dibond finish

Acrylate is a clear 3mm thick sheet with a higher light transmission than glass. Acrylaat is used in combination with our dibond carrier and is available in matte or gloss. Next to giving extra protection it accentuates the colors and lines in your artwork and gives the photo a deep, yet crystal-clear and fresh appearance.

4. Shadow Gab Framing

The frame of choice for exhibitions, this finish offers a direct view of the artwork and creates an impression of depth. The photograph is first mounted onto an aluminium plate. It is then fitted into a 480mm custom-built frame in solid wood. Perfectly flat and slightly set back within the frame, the photograph is thus better protected. The space between the photograph and the frame also contributes to an effect of lightness and depth.
All framed works are provided with a steel wire hanging system on the back.
The shadow gap frame is available in several colours: black wood, dark brown nut, natural oak or white.
