Scenius Gallery joins Culture Night Sligo 2026, presenting The Transatlantic Disportal, a live, walk-through installation built collectively by more than twenty students from the Irish Gap Year Association from found and repurposed materials. Alongside it, in Gallery 2: Blow-in, by Ian Jermyn, a companion installation with a 4.5-minute film of the piece at work on the pier, projected across the Culture Night evening.

Scenius is a contemporary art space in Sligo, Ireland, run by three practicing artists. Grounded in the principal of shared creative agency, the space supports ambitious, critically engaged work and is committed to the development of artistic discourse, exchange and collaboration in the west of Ireland.
